My name is Brent Burgess. My wife Melissa and I have been married 5 years and have three children: Arwen (3), Charis (2), and Ezra (not quite 1 yet).

I grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas, graduating high school in 2000. From there, I moved to Dallas, Texas where I attended Christ for the Nations Institute. While living in Texas, I met and married my wife Melissa.

In 2004, we moved to Georgia, and in early 2007 we moved to Alabama. We initially moved to Pell City, and then in early 2008 we moved to Calera.

My wife is a wonderful stay at home mom who homeschools our three children. She enjoys making handmade cold-processed soap on the side.

I am currently employed with Whole Foods Market, located in Mountainbrook. I've been with Whole Foods for 7 1/2 years. I work as a department team leader for the store.

My family is currently involved with Shelby New Testament Fellowship.

My family has enjoyed living in Calera, and believe we've found a great city to grow with.
